Join A Home Team
The Backbone of Eden Village
Relationship and community are a key part of the solution to homelessness. We believe that we should know the name and story of the person we’re trying to help. Each resident of Eden Village of Springfield has a supportive Home Team consistent of 4-6 people from the surrounding Springfield, MO area that will promise to meet monthly and ‘do life’ with that resident. There is a short educational program required to clearly explain the process, which includes no material gifts, rather just a supportive relationship.
Make a Lasting Impact
Home teams are a long-term volunteer opportunity that allow you to make a personal connection with an Eden Village resident.
Each resident is assigned a home team upon move in that will meet once a month during their first year living at Eden Village.
Transitioning from life on the streets to life in a home is not easy. The home team offers support and encouragement during this time.
